The Texas Family Law Foundation recently asked, “Did you hear her?” with regard to women who have primary custody and the reason they want to keep the law the way it is.
Let’s take a listen to what one woman had to say when she didn’t know the mic was on…
I know the woman in the audio clip. I know she testified at the original temporary orders hearing that she wanted 50/50 custody. I know she told her husband before the divorce that she looked forward to co-parenting — even driving to kid events together.
The judge ordered him to be on the Expanded Standard schedule, instead.
Against both of their wishes.
After the hearing she changed. She morphed into what you hear in this clip.
She wasted ten years and hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Why are we listening to lawyers who want to continue a system that promotes this behavior?
