This is Me!

So far, FWISD’s “investigation” into allegations that a volleyball coach is engaging in a serious conflict of interest involving a private employer is as follows…

“We asked the coach if she is doing anything wrong and she said, No.”

“Then we asked the owner of the private company if she thinks the coach is doing anything wrong and she said, No.”

I call this the “Kim Luc” method of investigating in tribute to an episode from M*A*S*H.

I’ve started my own investigation using Open Records Requests and public information. The PDF at the link below contains the results of this investigation. Please take a look at it and tell me if it proves…

  1. Frances Davies, in her role as 212 Recruiting Coordinator, performed recruiting services for at least two players on her BMHS varsity team.
  2. Frances Davies, in her role as 212 Recruiting Coordinator, used FWISD resources to promote student-athletes who don’t attend a FWISD school.
  3. No one else at 212 Volleyball Club has provided Recruiting Coordinator services to 212 athletes since Frances Davies took over the role. Which means, 212 Volleyball club has been getting a free ride on taxpayer money for nearly 4 years.

I’m scheduled to meet with Melissa Kelly, Associate Superintendent – Network 1, on January 10, 2024.
